The British Academy of Dramatic Combat

Kim-Anh Le-Pham qualified in the BADC Standard (Level 1) in January 2017.

Standard (Level 1)

The BADC Standard (Level 1) qualification is the fundamental building block of all dramatic combat training and accepted as the industry standard level of training expected of professional actors. The aim of the Standard course is to introduce the student to a range of armed and unarmed techniques so that they are prepared for, and have experience of, the type of fight performance that may be expected of them as a professional actor. Students learn Rapier & Dagger and Unarmed Combat techniques for stage and screen alongside a third weapon system (usually Smallsword), giving them experience of a wide range of armed and unarmed fighting techniques.
